AIowa Web Commercial Privacy Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Last Updated: September 7, 2026
1. Commercial Operator & Overview
AIowa Web is a commercial website design, development, and maintenance service operated directly by AIowa LLC ("AIowa," "we," "us," or "our"), an Iowa limited liability company based in Ames, Iowa.
This Commercial Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit https://web.aiowa.dev, submit an inquiry for our website services, or request a Free Website Audit.
For corporate data disclosures regarding the parent hub and media properties, please visit the AIowa.dev Corporate Privacy Policy .
2. Information We Collect
We collect information directly provided by you through our commercial inquiry forms:
- Contact Information: Name, business name, email address, phone number, and business website URL.
- Project Details: Business category, desired package, budget range, timeline expectations, and project description.
- Audit Specifications: Existing website URLs submitted for speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO diagnostic evaluation.
Additionally, our servers automatically record basic technical access data (IP address, browser type, and request timestamp) for security monitoring, spam prevention, and server diagnostics.
First-Party Marketing Attribution. When you arrive at this site from a campaign link or referring website, our attribution system may also automatically capture:
- Campaign parameters: UTM values in the landing URL (source, medium, campaign, content, and term).
- Referral data: the referring URL or referring source (for example, a social media site or search engine), when your browser provides one.
- Landing information: the landing page you first arrived on and the date and time of that first visit.
This attribution record is kept in your own browser using standard browser storage (session storage and local storage) — never tracking cookies. The session record clears when you close your browser; a first-touch record may persist in local storage for up to 30 days, after which it is automatically removed. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are involved.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you submit strictly for business purposes:
- Conducting requested website audits and preparing diagnostic reports.
- Evaluating scope and preparing fixed-price proposals.
- Communicating with you regarding project milestones and deliverables.
- Executing client agreements and milestone invoices.
- Detecting and mitigating automated spam or security threats.
- Understanding which referral sources and marketing campaigns generate inquiries (first-party attribution).
If you submit an inquiry form, the attribution data described in Section 2 (including the referring URL) may be attached to your submission and associated with your lead, so we know which referral or campaign source generated your inquiry. This attribution data is first-party marketing data — it is not sold, shared, or transmitted to advertisers, data brokers, or third-party lead aggregators.
Zero Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your contact information with marketing brokers, advertisers, or third-party lead aggregators.
4. Service Providers & Technical Processors
We utilize trusted infrastructure processors to deliver fast, secure web services:
- Hosting & Edge Delivery: Vercel and Cloudflare for secure global content delivery.
- Email & Notification Infrastructure: Encrypted email routing used to transmit lead notifications directly to our engineering team.
5. Data Retention & Your Rights
Inquiry submissions are retained in our secure records for the duration of the commercial engagement and for legitimate legal, tax, and accounting compliance. Attribution data attached to an inquiry is retained with that inquiry record under the same terms.
Browser-stored attribution expires on its own: the session record clears with your browser session, and the first-touch record is automatically removed after 30 days.
You may request a copy of your submitted information, request corrections, or request deletion of non-contractual inquiry records at any time by contacting us directly.
